Gather for the third and final dark spoke in the Wheel of the Year. Celebrating the Celtic triple Goddess Brigid’s return to the land from the Cailleach’s imprisonment over the winter months. Her return foretells the coming of springtime, and as the name implies Imbolc means “in the belly” in Irish Gaelic – what are you nurturing and growing in the final darkness of Winter’s womb to be born into Spring?
Participants please wear as much white, gold, or green to the event. Ritual includes manifestation spellcraft, 19th candle magic, and a grimoire sheet to take home to integrate into your personal practice.
February 1st is the final full moon before the lunar new year on February 17th. Known as The Quickening Moon (Neo-Pagan) which aligns with the intentions of Imbolc, The Storm Moon (Celtic) marks the midpoint between winter and spring solstice, and The Bear Moon (Anishinaabe), which marks the beginning of a vision quest initiated in the autumn at the first dark spoke of the wheel. This is a time to set intentions for the coming year.

Led by Adrianna Prosser, a dedicated Daughter of Brigid and Celtic Pagan for over thirty years, and a priestess in training with The Temple of Avalon. She is also a Death Doula and Anam Cara, walking the path of the psychopomp in death work and educating death positivity and grief literacy. Follow her Celtic Pagan journey at @BrigantiasDaughter

Supported by Sarah Topping, herbalism student and green witch. Her spiritual practice is focused on using the essence of herbs to elevate one’s craft with focused and intentional energy. Follow her at @TheCunningGarden
